Ink made from soot and ash from the turf fires of county Mayo. Paul has been a Chimney Sweep for over 30 years. During the Covid lockdown he started to experiment making ink from the soot he had collected over previous years. When blotted with textured material or paper the resulting effect is a delightful blend of ochre's, umbers and sienna tones.
